Tony Degollado on Driven Brand

Tony D (aka Tony Degollado) has been behind the marketing moves of some big-footprint BMX brands in his time. A long stint at Haro Bikes, then over to Kenda and then leading the charge to bring Vee Rubber to the BMX consumer has set him up well for what’s next: a guiding hand in running his own brand, called “Driven.”

In this Podcast, Tony talks about the vision and coming-to-market plan for the first tires (3D rendering shown above), as well as other products that might be coming down the pike after their July 1 launch.

Earlier in the show, we hit him up for some info on the Taipei bike show last month, and an inside look at what happens on those storied trips to the Far East to visit the factories where most BMX product is made. He also gives some great advice to racers who might be looking to transition into a career in the industry.
